The 5th of June 2021 was a very special day as I finally got to help my 2nd ever Wedding clients become Mr & Mrs Priestley after nearly 3 years of planning and re-planning! It's been such a pleasure getting to know Tim & Bron over the years and seeing their little family finally get to celebrate becoming husband and wife was truly touching.
We helped plan their elegant black & white wedding from the get-go, including finding the perfect wedding venue. Unfortunately Time & Bron were another couple who had to deal with the fallout of COVID-19 but we were there to help them every step of the way and alleviate as much stress as possible. With spirits high and a 2021 date set it was only a matter of time and patience.
Their big day arrived and they were blessed with perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony overlooking the beach, on the deck at Caves Coastal Bar & Bungalow. Bron looked like an absolute movie star in her stunningly intricate lace gown and crystal-encrusted royal blue heels. I absolutely love seeing the Groom’s face when his Bride is walking down the aisle and Tim didn’t let me down – there was no concealing his excitement!
After a beautiful ceremony framed by draped white chiffon and lush florals, it was time for a big surprise. Bron’s dad secretly planned a surprise Horse & Carriage for the couple to travel to their photoshoot in style! Such a beautiful moment and it made for great photos the couple will cherish forever.
When you’re a couple who’ve been planning your wedding for nearly 3 years, you’re ready to let loose and party at the reception! As MC it was such a fun night with everyone getting involved – one guest did a headstand on the dancefloor, Tim did a shoey and we learnt that he often goes by ‘Timmy Tim’! With that much love and fun in the air the speeches were always going to be amazing and they didn’t disappoint. Bron’s Sister gave a heart-warming speech about their deep bond, while Tim’s Groomsman Brett really highlighted how much of genuine and caring mate Tim is, which was echoed by his friend Michael. Never one to be outdone, Tim cheekily hinted that he and Bron had a surprise (baby number 5?!) which Bron quickly shut down – I think she’s happy with 4, Tim!
The newlyweds partied the night away with their loved ones and the bittersweet moment came for me to say goodbye to Tim & Bron. Thank you for entrusting me with your wedding planning, coordinating and emceeing even in the early days of Hunter Events Group and we wish your gorgeous family all of the happiness in the world.
