Min & Lisa Wedding | Weddings in Hunter Valley

We hit it off with Min and Lisa right from day one. We could see their absolute adoration and commitment for one another the moment we began our first consultation meeting. They were kind, friendly, funny and in love, so naturally all we wanted was to join them on the journey to Mrs & Mrs!

After an intimate first look between our brides and a photoshoot along the backroads of the Hunter Valley, we met them at the stunning White Barn. Min was in a black dress with her rainbow hair, and Lisa in her beautiful, soft white gown. They were escorted down the aisle together by their son Jakob, and when their vows began – so did our tears! Through promises and declarations of love and support we were honored to bear witness to such a special moment.

When it came time for speeches, we were so moved by Min’s dad who had written his speech in a notepad made by Min as a child with a handwritten note declaring ‘Dear dad, you’re the best dad ever.’ Let’s just say we weren’t the only emotional ones! Lisa’s godmother, Aunty Hash followed him up with a beautiful sentiment ‘Lisa’s magic was clear from her childhood’ before dubbing herself ‘Min’s adoptive godmother’.

Now, let us not forget the wildest part of the night! Min and Lisa kept us laughing from the moment they walked in the door, so it seemed only fitting that their MC would be none other than Timberlina. After the entire bridal party changed into Havianas and everyone played a round of dirty bingo, the Queen herself began a performance that had the room going wild! Best of all, during her final number she invited our beautiful brides to join her as she danced on a table to some classic Tina Turner! We don’t want to give anything away but if you’re looking for a party, we definitely recommend booking an MC that knows how to perform!

Now, usually we’re the ones who know all the secrets. We help brides hide a second dress, we help grooms organize fireworks, we’ve even pulled off an entire surprise wedding! But Min and Lisa caught us out when they decided spur of the moment to do a first dance. The song began and they took to the dancefloor and spent the next 3 minutes totally entranced in each other; there simply is no other way to describe it. Wrapped in each other’s arms they sang together, twirled together and for those three minutes, were the only two people in the universe.

Then the party really took off! Min’s mum cut her ballgown to knee length and her stepbrother split his pants from hitting the dance floor so hard. All in all, Min & Lisa spent their night in love and laughing. We could not think of a more perfect way for such an incredible couple to become Mrs & Mrs.

To Min and Lisa, we have loved every moment spent on this journey with you, and we hope to see you laughing, joking and as in love as ever for years to come!
