Past Events of 2021

Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd of May was the Central Coast Airshow presented by Paul Bennet Airshows and on ground management by Hunter Events GroupThere were show-stopping stunts that had the crowd holding their breath!
The skies over Central Coast Airport roared into life with unforgettable sights and sounds of an action-packed airshow! On the ground guests were treated with an array of street food, market stalls, kids zone featuring rides & entertainment, an alcohol zone featuring an abundance of local produce, emergency services interactive displays and set ups, defence display and recruitment station, hot wheels display and merch trailer, helicopter flights, live bands and music festival and so much more!

There was an incredible performance by Matt Mingay and the Stuntz INC Hot Wheels Team and additionally Jackson Strong and his FMX crew! Completing incredible stunts like jumping over planes, knee scraping wheelies and many more, the crowds were left in awe.
The crowd was also astounded by the epic first appearance of the RAAF F-35A Lightning II fighter jet display and its new dedicated Royal Australian Air Force display pilot. What an amazing end to such a great day!

This only scratches the surface of just how epic the event was. It's been over 30 years since an airshow has taken place at the Central Coast Airport at Warnervale, and a long time since the region has had a major event to call its own. The airshow most definitely attracted large crowds to the region, and provided a significant boost to the local economy whilst inspiring the next generation of Australian aviators.

We are proud to have coordinated all on-ground aspects of the event, including logistics, bump-in/out, transport, traffic and parking, and vendor and volunteer management.

The Hunter Events Team would like to say a massive thank you to the Paul Bennet Airshows team, vendors, suppliers, contractors and most importantly all the volunteers, managers and crew from Central Coast Aero Club who donated their time to assist in the successful running of this inaugural event.

We certainly didn't let the rain dampen our spirits at our recent Port Stephens Wedding Fair! With an impromptu bridal photoshoot, stunning showcase of raincoats and plenty of brave clients, the Port Stephens Wedding Fair went off without a hitch, despite the crazy weather outside.

Hunter Events Newcastle Wedding Fair was an amazing turn out! We had an incredible array of top wedding vendors and industry professionals from all around Greater Newcastle and Hunter Regions. The painting workshops went off with a hitch and everyone also loved the gorgeous flower crown workshops both produced by Raw Celebrations.

We experienced some b
eautiful crisp autumn days in Mudgee whilst preparing for the event and were blessed with some beautiful weather on the event day.

The airshow was amazing and included some incredible stunts. Jacko Strong from the motocross team shocked the crowd by performing a show stopping stunt, front-flipping over Paul Bennet's plane as he was flying past!

We are proud to have managed the on ground component for Paul Bennet Airshows including sourcing, logistics and managing vendors, food trucks, market stalls, show cars and more.

We loved working with the Paul Bennet Airshows team again on a fantastic event and can’t wait to bring Central Coast Airshow to life with them next. Thank you to the Mudgee Aero Club for all of their hard work and for welcoming us to their town.

Not only was there a jaw dropping airshow, there was also a great performance by Matt Mingay and the Stuntz INC Hot Wheels Team and additionally Jackson Strong and his FMX crew! Sunday the 21st of February 2021marked the second annual Wedding & Wine Festival and wow, what a day! From wine tastings and doggie tours, to bridal gowns and bull rides, this festival was jam packed with nothing but excitement and fun.

Guests were lining up from 9:15am, a full 45minutes before doors opened. As the queue formed around the back of  Dalwood Estate, over 100 vendors, exhibitors and entertainers finished the final touches on their stalls. At 10am, the (metaphorical) doors opened and excited guests filled the festival grounds, all receiving complementary Wedding & Wine Festival tumblers and tasting vouchers. Lucky brides-to-be rummaged through their gift bags while grooms could be found sizing up the mechanical bull ride.

With painting classes, flower crown workshops and plenty of alcohol tastings, there really was something for everyone. The main stage played host to bands, make up tutorials, bridal runways, pairings, cake decorating demos and a cocktail master class. The horse and carriage rides were a hit, as were the face painting and photobooths. Couples browsed their way through wedding exhibitors and got a taste of everything... including cakes and canapes!

As the day wrapped up, we finished strong with our Charity Raffle. With all proceeds going to our charity partner, The Royal Institute for Death and Blind Children, many lucky attendees left with a good conscience and heavy gift bag. The Hunter Events Wedding & Wine Festival has collectively raised over $5,000 for RIDBC and we are extremely grateful to all of our amazing vendors who donated prizes.

The 2021 Wedding & Wine Festival was wonderful. We cannot begin to express how happy and proud we are of this huge success. The Hunter Events Team would like to say a massive thank you to our venue host,  sponsors, vendors, entertainers and guests for making this event a day to remember.

The Hunter Events Wedding & Wine Festival returns to Dalwood Estate on the 20th of February 2022.
