Daniel and Grace’s love story begins with a Tinder ‘Super Like’, courtesy of Daniel. If you don’t know what this is, it means not only did Daniel swipe right on her profile, but he used his one free ‘Super Like’ for the day to expresses to Grace just how much he likes her profile. This small yet significant action set the stage for a blossoming romance. After exchanging a few messages & bonding over their shared love of ‘The Office’, this cyber connection soon developed into a modern day fairytale.
On a warm spring day, against the picturesque mountain backdrop of Spicers Guesthouse in the Hunter Valley, Daniel and Grace exchanged vows and begun their life as husband & wife.
The wedding arbor, two elegant pillars adorned with vibrant spring florals, was a masterpiece created by a talented family friend and wedding guest. It served as the perfect backdrop for a ceremony filled with boundless love, infectious laughter, and overwhelming joy. As Grace walked down the aisle, Daniel shed a tear, moved by the sight of his stunning fiancée who was about to become his wife. Their vows, beautiful and heartfelt, were also sprinkled with laughter and nods to their shared love of ‘The Office.’
Inside the cottage, amidst the laughter and love of family and friends, Grace, accompanied by her bridesmaids and bridesman, prepared for her special day. The air was filled with excitement and anticipation as they shared precious moments, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
While her side of the bridal party looked stunning in green, Grace was absolutely captivating in her timeless lace dress and low bun.
Meanwhile, the groomsmen on the other side of the property embarked on a memorable ‘getting ready’ photo shoot, setting a high standard for groomsmen photos with their creative and humorous shots. Beginning the shoot in matching blue tracksuits, each embroidered with their initials, they posed for parodies of football team arrival photos, boy band covers, awkward prom shots, classic school group photos, and vintage family photos.
The reception space was a vision of elegance, featuring long tables adorned with blush table runners, vintage candlesticks, and vibrant spring florals. As guests entered, they were captivated by the beautiful space, with fairy lights across the ceiling and a view opening onto the lawn, where they could enjoy the gorgeous sunset.
The bridal party entrances started with a bang, courtesy of the groomsmen and bridesman. As they entered from the back and made their way through the tables, they reached into their pockets and pulled out confetti poppers. After setting these off, they reached in again and again, setting them off over guests’ heads until they made their way to the front. Just when it seemed to be over, they surprised everyone with silver streamer poppers, adding a touch of sparkle to the laughter-filled atmosphere.
With the crowd now highly energized, applause and cheers filled the room as the newlyweds made their entrance to the reception. The air was electric with excitement and love, marking the beginning of a night filled with laughter, dance, and cherished moments.
After some amazing food, tear-jerking speeches, and lots of entertainment from the band, the guests were invited to head over to the dance floor space for the cake cutting. As a heartwarming surprise, Daniel and Grace invited their aunt and uncle, celebrating their wedding anniversary, to join them in cutting the cake. The joy in the room was tangible as the couple and their beloved relatives cut the cake together, a sweet moment that reflected the enduring love surrounding them on their special day.
